Meet the Principal

Greetings From the Principal

Welcome to San Pasqual High School!

San Pasqual High School has a storied tradition in academics, athletics, and the arts and it is always exciting to welcome Golden Eagle students, alumni, parents, and community to such a great school.

To focus our efforts on providing the best high school experience possible our mission is:

In an environment of collaboration and camaraderie San Pasqual HS will provide: Relevant, engaging instruction with High Expectations for ALL students; Embedded Support during the school day, as well as positive behavior models, academic interventions, & extra-curricular programs that promote success for students during & beyond their high school years; and an appreciation of the connectivity of communities around the world & the significant impact of individual actions within those communities

We work to achieve our mission through an annual instructional goal:

To use PLC Time and other collaborative activities to focus on engaging students in the curriculum through thoughtful planning, a focus on inquiry, and active participation that fosters critical thinking and problem solving.

Our work at San Pasqual is conducted through designated weekly Professional Learning Communities.
In collaborative groups staff works together to define strategies, propose solutions to the achievement issues, and implement identifiable changes and improvements to the instructional program.

Students and families at SPHS are supported during their journey through the collaborative efforts of Administration, Guidance, Teachers, and Staff working in a collaborative “House” structure that supports student development as well as academic and social growth.

San Pasqual involves parents, guardians, and community stakeholders in the work through the School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee, Back to School Night, Parent Meetings, Parent Club, Athletic Boosters and Band Boosters, alongside regular informative contact with the community.

Our work results in students graduating from San Pasqual achieving the following outcomes:

  1. Academically Prepared
  2. Behaving Positively
  3. College & Career Ready

San Pasqual High School would like to thank our dedicated parent and community volunteers for their support. Without their involvement we would not be able to provide students with the type of high quality school program we currently enjoy.

If you have any questions about San Pasqual High School or would like more information please feel free to contact our office to set up a meeting or to take a tour.

UNITED . . . we are San Pasqual!
