Meet the Principal

Greetings From the Principal

Welcome to San Pasqual High School!

San Pasqual High School has a storied tradition in academics, athletics, and the arts and it is always exciting to welcome our Golden Eagle students, alumni, parents, and community to such a great school.

To focus our efforts on improving student achievement San Pasqual has the following goal areas:

  • High Expectations, with support, for our students and staff
  • Instruction that engages, inspires, and adapts
  • Systematic prevention and intervention efforts
  • A Safe, Culturally Proficient School Climate & Culture
  • Collaboration through Professional Learning Communities

These goal areas provide broad support for specific measureable student learning outcomes:

  • College and Career Readiness
  • Proficiency in Academic Content Standards and Common Core Standards
  • Cultural Proficiency & Community Mindedness

The work of improving student achievement at San Pasqual is conducted through designated weekly Professional Learning Communities. In collaborative groups staff works together to define strategies, propose solutions to the achievement issues, and implement identifiable changes and improvements to the instructional program.

Students and families at SPHS are supported during their journey through the collaborative efforts of Administration, Guidance, Teachers, and Staff working in a collaborative “House” structure that supports student development as well as academic and social growth.

San Pasqual involves parents, guardians, and community stakeholders in this work through the School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee, Parent Involvement Coordinator, Back to School Night, Parent Meetings, Parent Club, Athletic and Band Booster Clubs, alongside regular informative contact with the community.

San Pasqual High School would like to thank our dedicated parent and community volunteers for their support. Without their involvement we would not be able to provide students with the type of high quality school program we currently enjoy.

If you have any questions about San Pasqual High School or would like more information please feel free to contact our office to set up a meeting or to take a tour.

UNITED . . . we are San Pasqual!
